The Sungai Channing Gold Mining Project marks the
first major venture of Kumnara Holding Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia’s mineral sector. The company holds Mining Lease ML 16/2022, covering 200 hectares in Ulu Nenggiri, Gua Musang, Kelantan, a region situated within the Central Gold Belt (CGB) — Malaysia’s most prolific gold-bearing corridor. The lease, granted for 22 December 2022 – 21 December 2026. The renewal Mining Lease will be extended until 2030.
Although Kumnara is a new entrant in the mining industry, the project is supported by independent geological validations. Assessments under PL32/2014 by Ir. Haji Wan Anuar bin Ibrahim (PE:6835) confirmed favorable lithology and structure, while subsequent studies by the Bajio Mining Group, led by Jose de Jesus Perez, identified quartz-vein-hosted mineralization consistent with commercial recovery potential.
